Local quilt club Supports the community!

Gone to Pieces Quilt Club meets at the East Peoria Sewing Center on the 2^nd Tuesday of every month from 10:00 am to noon.  This is a small group of quilters interested in learning more about the art of quilting and in doing community service projects.  From September thru May, they present a demonstration on a new technique or a new block pattern, followed by show and tell.  During the months of June, July and August, they work diligently on service projects.  In June they completed 58 stockings for the military personnel stationed overseas.  In July they spent two days completing 68 flannel bibs for two of the area nursing homes. You are invited to join them in August as they will be making more Christmas stockings for the troops overseas.  It will be a great time to join them as they also share a potluck lunch during their summer gatherings.  You can contact them through the East Peoria Sewing Center at 127 N.
